Description: This show amazes me in that the same people who started with me are still there after 6 years and they do a great job at this show! It's consistent each year and it gets better and better. We have some very good crafters and they are amazed at how well they do. A lot say they do better than Cranberry.
Over 100 buses come, 47,000 people through the gate and they buy!
Lots of travelers come from all over New England. The Cape Cod Dinner Train runs non-stop. People ride from Hyannis, have cocktails on the train, then a wonderful scallop dinner and then off to the craft show. They have entertainment all days and nights in the big food tent. The food tent holds 1000 people and it's full a lot of the time.
Last year a lot of crafters waited until the last minute and the show was completely booked.
We had a lot of crafters not able to get in. If they had signed up earlier we could have ordered a larger tent.
Canal Region Chamber of Commerce are the promoters of the Scallop Festival. (Dick and I started the Professional Juried Arts & Crafts Show six years ago) This show is under one huge tent - 100' x 250'. This holds 124 spaces made up of 100 CRAFTER and 24 HOME SHOW booths. In a completely separate tent they have entertainment, great food, the best scallops I have ever eaten and lots of other foods.
Fee:
Fee is for three days including power for each space and security for Friday and Saturday night.
All 10x10 spaces have 300 watts power and 10X15 spaces have 450 watts.
10x10 ft regular space - $535.00 10x10 regular corner space - $565.00

10x10 ft wide isle space - $560.00 10x10 wide isle corner space - $585.00

Information: You will receive your show confirmation soon after you apply. Space information and directions will be mailed to you approximately two weeks before the show. There is no rain date for this show.
Set-Up:
If you wish to, set up is available Thursday after 2:00p.m. until 10:00p.m. for a $10.00 security fee payable at setup. Otherwise set up is at 6:00a.m. until 9:00a.m. Friday morning.
Bourne is near the Boston area so more of the day trippers will be coming down too. This show is easy to set up and break down, no hassle, easy parking for crafters and customers and great motor home parking.
